AMARK's Focus on Safety
It is essential in our industry to be committed to safety. AMARK has an extensive Safety and Health Program which has been developed to comply with government regulations and provide its employees with the necessary knowledge to prevent job-related injuries. All of AMARK’s employees play an important role in maximizing the safety on all of our jobs. All of our jobsites are evaluated by the AMARK team utilizing our Safety Pre-Task Analysis guidelines prior to the start of the job. AMARK’s Experience Modification Rate is .89 as of June 2007.
AMARK is committed to providing a safe workplace by utilizing the following:
- AMARK’s Safety Procedures and Manual detailing each faction of the work we perform as well as the necessary training to perform the task as safe as possible.
- Weekly toolbox safety meetings on every job.
- Regular monthly training of our Supervisors and Leadmen.
- Implementing Annual Safety Incentive Awards.
- Providing a drug free work place.
AMARK has been awarded the Paragon Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors for the State of Virginia. The award is designed to recognize contractors for excellence in the field of safety.
